Our CEO, Simon Glass, has been invited to participate in a panel discussion as part of the 2026 World Bank Group Youth Summit. The theme of this year’s event is FutureWorks: Designing Jobs for the Digital Age, and Qodeo will be participating in the Entrepreneurship x Access to Finance panel.
The question anchoring the session is one that every young person in the room is already asking: How do I get the right capital at the right moment to build what I am trying to build? The session brings together founders who have been through fundraising and financiers who are actively shaping it to share insights, practical knowledge, and a grounded view of where the ecosystem is headed.
Panel speakers include:
• Konstantinos Kollias: Global Head, Equity Portfolio at IFC. Konstantinos is an investment professional, with primary focus on equity investments in Emerging Markets.
• Hoi Ying So: Global Co-Head and Portfolio Manager, Disruption Technology and Venture Capital at IFC. Hoi Ying co-leads IFC’s global emerging markets venture capital business across direct investment, VC funds, and co-investments.
• Kate Woska: VP, Africa/ME & Impact Partnerships at Andela, an AI-powered global marketplace for the world’s top software engineers and technologists.
